Admissions

Three Rivers Village School accepts applicants ages 5 – 18 year round.

We believe that the great majority of children can thrive at TRVS!

Reach Out to Us

There are a few ways to contact us. You can begin by filling out an admissions inquiry form. An admissions packet is sent in response to all inquiries, and we make it a priority to respond promptly.

Alternatively, you can visit us at one of our info sessions – find dates and submit your RSVP here. There is also the option of scheduling a half-hour tour. To schedule a tour (or if you have immediate questions), contact us at 412-408-3388 or by email

Schedule an Admissions Meeting

The next step in the admissions process is to schedule an admissions meeting. This can be done over the phone or by emailing our Admissions Clerk, Maggie. At this meeting, we will talk in depth about our program so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not TRVS is for you. Choosing to send your child to a school as unconventional as TRVS is not necessarily an easy decision.

Apply for Financial Aid

TRVS has sliding-scale tuition. It is a core value of ours to be accessible to families regardless of income level. We have an independent 3rd party partner called FACTS to help determine financial aid eligibility.  If you think you may qualify for financial aid and would like to apply, click here.

Determination Letter

The staff conducting the admissions meeting will report back to the Admissions Committee.  This committee will make a determination on whether or not we expect the potential student to thrive at TRVS. The main criteria we use for accepting students are: 1. Does the student want to attend? and 2. Are the primary caregivers able to trust and support their child?

Families will receive a determination email within a week.

Three Rivers Village School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. TRVS is primarily tuition funded and is committed to creating a workable financial plan for the family of every child who wants to attend.
